A personal exploration of Disney media along with the chronicling of my many trips to Disneyland through the years. And while this is primarily a Disney and Disneyland blog, along the way I occasionally contribute writings on some other pop culture and media topics just for the fun of it. There are almost 800 posts to this blog. Click through the Archives and I hope you have a good time. Enjoy The Disneyland Traveler Blog (completely without ads or annoying attempts to sell you anything).

"America! America! God Send His Grace on Thee"
Happy Birthday America! Lest we forget, some 235 years ago a document was signed that gave birth to this nation. As a country, we've had our ups; we've had our downs; but we are a fortunate nation for the most part.
Does this have anything to do with Disneyland? Not much. Of course Disneyland will its band out in full force, there will be fireworks, a special World of Color, red, white, & blue bunting will be prominently displayed all meant to honor this great county. In the long run, it is all kind of meaningless. What needs to be remembered is that if you visited a U.S. Disney Park in the last year, you are more blessed and fortunate than almost everyone else who lives on this earth. Give thanks for opportunities because it is far to easy to forget about blessings.
